<p>A powder which consists essentially of chromium and nickel with the balance being from 50 to 95 percent by weight chromium carbide, with the chromium and nickel being present in a weight ratio of about 1 part by weight chromium to 4 parts by weight nickel. Also, producing the powder by the process, of agglomerating a blend of the constituents and sintering the agglomerates in a high temperature reactor.</p> |
