PURPOSE:To form a wavy shape having excellent dimensional accuracy and small pitches in a short time, by forming a wave-shaped plate with the aid of a pair of meshing gears and pressing the formed product. CONSTITUTION:When a thin-plate blank material 9 is inserted into a part between meshing gears 4 and 5, and the gears 4 and 5 are rotated respectively in the directions of E and F, a wave-shaped plate 13 is formed basing on the shape of teeth of the gears. Next, the plate 13 is inserted into a tunnel-shaped case 10 having a rectangular cross-section of which the height and width are slightly larger, in dimensions, than the height of wave and the width of plate respectively, and is formed by pressing it in the direction of the continuing wave from both sides (or one side) with the aids of rods 11 and 12. Thus, a wavy shape having the minimum pitch is obtained. |
