PURPOSE:To facilitate installation of a porous filter to an exhaust tube and prevent induced explosion to an inflamable gas in the inside of a battery caused by combustion of the porous filter by installing exhaust tubes to the both sides of a spark arrester which builds in the porous filter in a housing and connecting one end of the exhaust tube to a battery exhaust pipe. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust tubes 8, 8' are set to both sides of a spark arrester 4 which builds in a porous filter in a housing 5, and one end of the exhaust tube is connected to a battery exhaust pipe 3. In the case that a spark, high temperature gas, or back fire comes near, induced explosion to the inside of a battery is prevented by the porous filter, and installation of the porous filter between exhaust tubes 8 and 8' is facilitated. If a slit 9 is installed in the exhaust tube 8, when internal pressure of the battery is increased by clogging of the porous filter, the slit 9 opens to allow a gas to escape. Therefore, the explosion of a storage battery is prevented. |
