A lifting table has a top plate (3) which is vertically variable relative to a base frame (1) by means of a crank drive. A guide strip (2) is perpendicularly arranged at each of the four corners of the base frame (1). On the inside of the table, the guide strips (2) each have two guideways on which the top plate (3) is guided by guide rollers. Through this design, the top plate (3) is simply but statically defined and guided in a wear-resistant manner. <IMAGE>
