The invention relates to a valve including an elastically flexible seat (7) and a seat stopper (12). The seat stopper (12) is adapted to control shifting and flexion of the seat under fluid pressure when the valve is closed, by abutting against the seat intermediately between a part (11) of the seat contacting a valve housing and a part (9) thereof connected to a valve closure member (5).
