PURPOSE:To shield leakage magnetic field of a servo head from a data head and to record and reproduce information correctly, by providing a cnductor for a position where a servo head and a lead of a data head correspond or between both the heads. CONSTITUTION:The device consists of a magnetic disc 1 rotating by a motor 2, a position readout servo head 4, a data head 5 for information recording and reproduction, a lead 8 and an IC9 for amplification, and a lead shield 10 is a conductor fitted to the lead 8. When a recording current flows to the data head 5, the leakage magnetic flux generated from the lead 8 is not mixed to each part of a servo head 4 shielded with the lead shield 10 as noise. Thus, position information from the servo head 4 is correctly transmitted and information can be recorded and reproduced correctly with the data head 5 which is not shifted. |
