Sizing agent composition

摘要

The aqueous sizing agent composition contains the partial neutralisation product of an alkyl- or alkenyl-substituted succinic acid with ammonia or an amine compound, the degree of neutralisation of the substituted succinic acid being 1 to 30%. The composition shows an excellent sizing effect and excellent dispersability in hard water and can be used as sizing agent for paper manufacture in hard and hot water.
