Installation with several independent shop scales

In an installation having a group of independent shop scales, each set of shop scales consists of a weighing part receiving the goods and the weight of which must be determined, and of an evaluating part receiving its measurement signal and comprises memories with an input device, a computer and a display and possibly a printer. The memories also comprise PLU memories which contain predetermined unit and individual prices of the goods and are called up by means of a code allocated to this price and to be entered at the keyboard. To simplify the loading of the PLU memories and to support the sales processes, it is proposed to allocate to the installation a common central computer to which all shop scales are connected and which has an input device, connected to all PLU memories of the individual shop scales, for the unit or individual prices of the various goods and which has an output device for the weight and price sums which is connected to all totals memories of the individual shop scales.
