ANTICORROSIVE FOR PURE WATER BOILER AND PREVENTING METHOD FOR CORROSION

PURPOSE:To allow a superior anticorrosive effect to be shown on a pure water boiler without using a phosphorus compound and a deoxidizer by adding aliphatic oxycarboxylic acid and volatile amine to water for the boiler in a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:To water for a pure water boiler are added >=0.02ppm aliphatic oxycarboxylic acid and volatile amine by >=0.02ppm in excess of the amount required to neutralize gaseous CO2 dissolved in the water. They may be added in the form of salts. It is preferable that the effective components are added within said ranges so as to adjust the molar ratio between the amount of the added oxycarboxylic acid and the excess amount of the added amine to 1:(1-8).
