A probe (1) for inductive magnetic flowmeters is provided with a measuring tube (2) of oxide ceramic. A rod (13) of the measuring electrode (8) is sealingly arranged therein upon sintering. The ceramic tube (2) is assembled by shrinkage in an opening (4) of a steel envelope (5). After sintering of the measuring tube (2) and in order to make grounding rings and other current paths, conductor paths are provided. To this effect, a paste with conductor particles is applied and the ceramic tube (2) is heated again. The paste forms a thin conductor film strongly adhering to the ceramic tube (2).
