Materials particularly concerned are PVC powder provided with additives, or polyolefins such as PS, PP or PE. The device comprises a material-receiving hopper (1), a mixing and stirring unit (3), and a feed screw (8) and a planetary-gear extruder (10) with upstream feed screw. To reduce wearing of the planetary-gear extruder (10), the feed screw (8) and the planetary-gear extruder (10) are arranged with their axis perpendicular in each case axially underneath the receiving hopper (1) and are connected to the drive of the mixing and stirring unit.
