A temperature measuring device comprises oscillator circuits (1,2) for producing two oscillating signals whose frequency-temperature coefficients are substantially different from one another, the frequency- temp. coefficient of oscillator 1 preferably being negligible by comparison. A frequency divider circuit (3) frequency divides one of the oscillating signals to produce a gate timing signal, and a counter (5) for counting the other oscillating signal or a signal related thereto in dependence upon the gate timing signal to produce a signal whose value is a measure of the temperature of the oscillating circuits. The accuracy of measurement can be adjusted by altering the gate timing signal by means of switches (S1) controlling the division ratio of the frequency divider circuit (3). <IMAGE> |
