PURPOSE:To prevent simply the pipe inner wall from being corroded, by attaching one end of a cylindrical synthetic resin film that is flattened to an end of a pipe, and applying vacuum to the inside of the pipe so that the film is sucked into the pipe thereby bringing the inner surface of its cylindrical surface into film contact with the pipe inner wall. CONSTITUTION:The cylindrical film 1 that is made of a synthetic resin such as nylon, Tetoron, etc., and has an outer diameter approximately equal to the inner diameter of the pipe 2, and a length a little longer than the length of the pipe 2 is flattened. The one end 1a of the film 1 is opened and is secured to a flange 3 of the end of the pipe 2 by securing members 4. Then vacuum is applied to the inside of the pipe 2 by a vacuum pump so that the film 2 is sucked into the pipe 2 thereby rolling over the film 1 and bringing the inner surface of the cylindrical surface of the film 1 into firm contact with the inner wall 2a of the pipe to form the pipe inner wall protective film 6, and the other end of the film 6 is secured to the other end of the pipe 2 by securing member. |
