PURPOSE:To cut down on cost as well as make easier the regultion of the operating time of a printing hammer only by a simple operation in which regulating screws inside a printing magnet are shrunk or expanded. CONSTITUTION:A printing mechanism is made up of a connection rod 4 whose one end is contactually extended to a printing magnet 1 and an armature 9 provided to a fitting plate 2 and a printing hammer 5 operating pressingly by the other end of the connection rod 4 and striking the type 7. The fitting plate 2 is provided with a ?-shaped plate spring 11 (not illustrated for side view) in a vertically set form, and the basal portion of the printing magnet 1 is inserted into the upper end opening of the plate 2. When pressing the basal portion of the printing magnet 11 from side, the plate spring 11 is elastically deformed and moved in the directions of K and L. The stroke of the armature 9 is regulated by adjusting the position of the back stop 16 of the armature 9. Also, by shrinking or expanding the regulating screw 18, the aperture between the striking face 6 of the printing hammer 5 and the type 7 is adjusted. |
