PURPOSE:To prevent a heating medium from accidentally spouting in a large quantity into a dome, by providing a space between the lower end surface of the dome and the top surface of a bottom cover thereby preventing the movement of the bottom cover from being transmitted to the dome at the vulcanizing position. CONSTITUTION:The space 51 is provided between the lower end surface of the dome 6 and the top surface of the cover 4 so that the movement of the bottom cover 4 can not be transmitted to the dome 6 at the vulcanizing position when a pressuring cylinder 5 is operated upward to force a mold lower half 43 over it via the bottom cover 4 to a mold upper half on the side of the dome 6. Accordingly, the whole of the pressure of the pressuring cylinder 5 is transmitted to the mold upper half and the mold lower half 43 to perform the clamping positively. |
