PURPOSE:To indicate a correct value with a revision of possible miscounting by correcting count of a counting circuit according to a signal from a constant amount signal transmission section formed at the specific position of a graduated tape. CONSTITUTION:When the oil surface waves while oil in an underground tank 2 decreases or increases, a cord 7 of a float 5 moves and pulses giving rise to miscounting are generated from a pulse generator 19 with the turning of a reel 14. There is a black portion set at the specific section on the back of a tape 15, for example, at the level of 1,000l. As the black portion passes over a light emitter 20 and a light receiver 21, light entering the light receiver 21 is interrupted instantaneously and the receiver 21 introduces a correction signal E into a counting circuit 23, the count of which 23 covers 1,000l. Thus, 1,000l is displayed on an indicator 9. |
