<p>PURPOSE:To maintain the frequency of the generated electric power from a wind power generator constant by controlling the speed regulating load energized by an AC generator in response to the rotating speed of the AC generator. CONSTITUTION:When the speed signal from a tachometer generator 8 mounted on the same shaft as a wind wheel 1 and a generator 2 reaches the set value (95%), a load regulator 19 closes a load regulating contactor 20, thereby starting the energization of a rotary exciter 5. An exciting thyristor 10 is controlled by an automatic voltage regulator 9. Further, a load regulator 19 controls the current flowed through resistors 18, 24, 25 in response to the speed signal, thereby controlling the speed of the wind wheel constantly. In this manner, the frequency of the power generated from a generator can be stabilized, and the damage of the wheel due to a rush of wind can be prevented.</p> |
