PURPOSE:To record a picture satisfactorily even if intermittent drive is executed, by turning on a charger and a transfer charger when a recording medium is driven, and turning them off when it is stopped, in case of reversing development and transfer electrostatic copying. CONSTITUTION:When intermittent drive of a recording medium and a head 8 is executed at every input of a picture of 1 line portion, each enable signal of destaticization, charging and transfer is read by a high voltage generating circuit 24, in accordance with an output of a gate G1 having an H level output while the recording medium is driven, high voltage is applied to chargers 6, 7 and 10 corresponding to said signals, each gate G3-G5 is all intercepted in accordance with an output of the gate G2 having an L level output in the stop period, to prevent a high voltage from being applied to each charger 6, 7 and 10. In this regard, when a continuous driving signal is outputted from a system controlling circuit, the recording medium is continuously driven preferentially to open each gate G3-G5 and to apply by each enable signal of destaticization, charging and transfer, high voltage to each charger. |
