PURPOSE:To monitor the inside of the cage of an elevator and the corridor in every floor with a small number of television cameras, by storing a television camera in the cage of the elevator and moving this television camera from the cage entrance/exit to the elevator hall. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulic pump 3 for expanding and contracting an arm is installed on a ceiling 1a of a cage 1 of an elevator to expand and contract an arm 4, and a base incorporating a vertically and horizontally turning motor is mounted at the tip of the arm 4. A television camera 6 is held suspended under the base 5 to monitor inside of the cage 1. When a cage door 2 is opened, the arm 4 is expanded to monitor the corridor in every floor outside the cage 1 of the elevator. Thus, the inside of the cage and the corridor in eaci floor are monitored with a small number of television cameras. |
