摘要 PURPOSE:To shorten a wait-up time, to make a device small-sized, and to save energy, by controlling a surface set temperature of heat-fixation rotating body before fixation is started, in accordance with the continuous copying set number of sheets, after electric power is supplied. CONSTITUTION:A surface temperature T0 is the lowest temperature level in which fixation can be executed, and in case of T0 or below, low temperature offset occurs, and in case of a temperature T5, ''Teflon '' is decomposed, and low molecular weight rubber evaporates. Accordingly, a temperature ranges between the above temperatures. In case when the set number of sheets to be continuously copied is <=2-3 sheets, a fixation heat roll surface temperature rises up to a temperature T3 at time t1 to complete wait-up and to output a copying signal. In case when number of sheets to be copied is as many as 80- 90 sheets, a temperature rises up to a temperature T4 at time t2 to output the copying signal. When copying starts, the temperature T4 of the fixation heat roll falls to T1 at time t4, and to complete the copying of the set number of sheets. In this way, the wait-up time can be shortened in copying a small number of sheets, etc.
