PURPOSE:To discriminate a short-cut direction by comparing the figure of 1/2 of the final figure at an indexing position and the figure at a next indexing position with the figure at a present indexing position, respectively, while comparing the figure at the next indexing position with the figure at an position on the opposite side of the present indexing position. CONSTITUTION:The figure of 1/2 of a figure D at the final indexing position of a turret (namely the turret is indexed by 360 deg./D at a time.) is compared with a figure A at the present indexing position by means of a comparator 8d, and an output E is generated when D/2>A. A figure B at the next indexing position is compared with the A in a comparator 8e, and an output F is generated when A>B. A figure C at a position on the opposite side of the A is compared with the B in a comparator 8i, and an output G is generated if C>B. And in an arithmetic circuit 8j, a formula E.F+E.-F.-G+-E.F.-G is operated, and if the formula is satisfied, a clockwise rotation is discriminated as a shorter circuit, and if not satisfied, a counteclockwise rotation as a shorter circuit. |
