PURPOSE:To improve the characteristics of a cell together with its capacity to hold a large amount of alkaline electrolyte in positive electrode black mix. by preparing positive electrode black mix through freezed drying of the mixture comprising silver oxide and alkaline electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:Positive electrode black mix is obtained from the mixed substance which is prepared by mixing, with stirring, silver oxide and alkaline electrolyte in a closed vessel, by freezing moisture in said black mix, sublimiating ice under reduced pressure, and removing moisture as water vapor. Therefore, a large amount of alkaline electrolyte can be held in said positive electrode black mix, and the characteristics of a cell, such as low temperature characteristic and discharge characteristic etc. can be improved. |
