PURPOSE:To improve the liquid-leakproof property by applying microwave discharge plasma treatment onto a gasket material and covering said gasket material with sealant, in manufacture of insulating gaskets. CONSTITUTION:A gasket material made of polyamide resin, e.g., nylon 6.6 or polyolefine resin, e.g., polyethylene is applied with microwave discharge plasma treatment in a plasma discharge processing apparatus, and immersed into the soltuion containing sealant which is prepared by dissolving epoxy resin etc. into the mixed solvent containing isopropyl alcohol, toluene, and methyl ethyl ketone, and then said processed gasket material is pulled-up from the solution and dried, and a resin sealed layer is formed on the surface. Thus, the liquid- leakproof property can be improved. |
