PURPOSE:To assuredly put paper on a core in an apparatus for winding paper fed from an unwinder round a core interposed between a pair of rotary rollers by mounting a sucking portion for sucking and holding paper on the rotary roller. CONSTITUTION:In case of winding paper fed from a paper roll fixed to an unwinder 6 round a core disposed between rotary rollers 1, 2, the first switching valve 19 of a suction tube 18 is opened, and the second switching valve 21 is closed so as to start a blower 16. A sucking portion 17 of the rear roller 2 is put in the suction state, so that the leading end 4a of paper 4 drawn out through guide rollers 13 is sucked when it comes close to the sucking portion 17. Subsequently, a rider roller 7 is lowered, and then the valves 19, 21 are respectively changed over to open and close state. After suction of the sucking portion 17 is stopped, adhesives is jetted from a sticking device 11 to the core 3. Then, the rollers 1, 2 and the paper roll 12 are driven forward to start a winder operation. |
