PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized copying machine which does not produce any photographic fogs by rubbing a solid magnetic toner block while pressing the same to a latent image carrying body to develop latent images, providing magnets near the parts where the latent image carrying body and the solid magnetic toner block are rubbed and sticking excess toners thereon. CONSTITUTION:A photoreceptor 1 is made of a conductive layer 2 vapor-deposited with a metal and a photoconductive layer 3 dispersed with fine photosensitive particles of cadmium sulfide or the like in a binder, and the electrostatic latent images 4 formed on the photoreceptor 1 are developed by a general method. A solid magnetic toner block 5 contg. conductive toner particles is supported by a conductive supporting member 6 and is pressed onto the surface of the photoreceptor 1 by means of a spring 7. Since magnets 8 provided to the member 6 attract the toners that do not contribute to development, the toners sticking on the non-image parts are decreased and photographic fogs are reduced considerably. |
