PURPOSE:To aim at shortening the glow switching time required as well as decreasing deviation, by stretching a film made from a mixture of special make-up metals Ba and Al2O3 at positions keeping a larger discharge inerval than a minimum discharge interval between the locked and movable electrodes of an electrode structural body. CONSTITUTION:In close vicinity to one end 3 being welded to an inner lead-in wire 4 belonging to a movable electrode 2, a mixture of BaN6 and Al2O3 is stretched and during exhaustion of an airtight container 1, BaN6 is decomposed by heating in a vacuum and turns to a film 12 made from a mixture of metals Ba 65wt% and Al2O3 35wt% by way of example, and stretched over the inner lead-in wire 4. Likewise, a bending part 13 of the movable electrode 2 makes up a minimum discharge interval (a) in position between the movable electrode 2 and a fixed electrode 5 and therefore the film 12 of said mixture of metals Ba and Al2O3 is stretched along the position that keeps a larger discharge interval (b) than a minimum discharge interval (a). On the other hand, inside the airtight container 1, as a releasable electric substance, for example, a mixed gas of Ne 99vol% and Ar 1vol% is being charged with the pressure at 76Torr. |
