PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for adjustment, by providing a test chain on a belt conveyor so that a prescribed weight per unit length of the belt conveyor is applied to the test chain and obtaining a ratio of an extent of transportation, which is obtained in the process of running, to a reference extent of transportation calculated on a basis of the overall length of the belt conveyor. CONSTITUTION:In a conveyor scale, the output of a load cell 12 which is provided for a belt conveyor 10 and detects an extent of transportation per unit length is amplified at an amplifier 13 and is converted to a digital signal in an A/D converter 14, and a pulse signal, which is generated from a pulse generator 16 each time the belt conveyor 10 runs a unit length, is accumulated in an accumulator 18, and this accumulated value is divided in a divider 20 by a span value set to a span value setter 22, and the result is displayed on a display 24. In case of span adjustment, a test chain 26 is provided on the conveyor 10 so that a prescribed weight per unit length of the conveyor 10 is applied to the test chain 26, and the overall length of the conveyor 10 is measured, and the number of times of running of the conveyor 10 is determined, and an extent of transportation obtained by calculation is set to a span reference value setter 28, and the test is performed. |
