PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts required for installing final gears of a motorcycle or the like, by coupling a bearing holder for a final shaft and a final gear case together by a double fastening bolt at its threaded section located on its base side, and driving the top threaded section of the bolt into a crank case. CONSTITUTION:A final shaft 12 is supported in a freely rotatable manner by a bearing 14. A bearing holder 15 fixed securely in place by means of nuts 11, 16 and a final gear case 22 having a drive shaft 18 supported therein and fixed securely in place by means of nuts 23, 24 are coupled together and fastened tightly by driving a threaded section 33 of a double-fastening bolt 32 located on the base side thereof into an internal thread 30 formed in the bearing holder 15. Then, the top of the double-fastening bolt 32 is inserted into a hole 29 formed in a left crank case 1, and a nut 35 is fitted to the thread top 34 of the bolt 32 for tight clamping of the bearing holder 15. |
