PURPOSE:To improve a working efficiency upon exchanging a pad by a method wherein a sub slide pin is removed from a support without releasing the sealing condition of a slide supporting device and a caliper is pivoted above the main slide pin. CONSTITUTION:A dust boot 18 seals the sliding part of the opening 14 of the main slide pin 16 from atmosphere. A bush 19 consists of a bush secured to a penetrating opening 15 and the dust boot seals a sliding surface between the sub slide pin 17 and the bush from atmosphere. When a box nut 24, screwed to the sub slide pin 17, is removed and, subsequently, a sleeve 27 is withdrawn from a screw 17d, the screw 17d of the sub slide pin 17 may be withdrawn into a radial direction through a notch 26. Accordingly, the caliper 5 may be rotated about the main slide pin 16 without touching any incorporating constitution of the other part. |
