PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized antenna device which can have a 360 deg. change in both the null point direction and the maximum sensitivity direction, by providing a pair of loop antenna elements, a variable phase shifter and an adder respectively. CONSTITUTION:For a pair of loop antennas 10 and 10', the feeding points 10a and 10a' are positioned opposite to each other and set horizontally on a plane. These points 10a and 10a' are connected to the converters 11 and 11' respectively. The output of the converter 11 is connected to an input of an adder 14 via a variable phase shifter 13; while the output of the converter 11' is connected directly to the other input of the adder 14. The variation of the phase shift degree is performed electrically for a phase shifter 13. Thus it is possible to have a 360 deg. change in both of the null point direction and the maximum sensitivity direction. With use of such elements 10a and 10a', the shifter 14 and an adder 14, both of the null point direction and the maximum sensitivity direction can be changed 360 deg. for a small-sized antenna device. |
