PURPOSE:To provide an acidic seasoning giving pleasant resistance to the teeth, and checkable its amount in a container at a glance, by filling an acidic seasoning liquid in the core cavity of a small capsule of calcium alginate. CONSTITUTION:A small capsule of calcium alginate containing an acidic seasoning in the core cavity is prepared by adding an aqueous solution of a calcium salt (e.g. about >=0.5% aqueous solution of calcium chloride) dropwise to an aqueous solution of sodium alginate (about 0.3-1% concentration) under stirring. The stability of the acidic seasoning can be further improved by adding about 20-50% sugars to the calcium salt solution, thereby making the specific gravity of the solution higher than that of the sodium alginate solution. |
