PURPOSE:To facilitate adjustment of axle alignment, by a method wherein the length of a relay rod between the first and the second axle in a two front axle vehicle can be freely adjusted and fixed. CONSTITUTION:The relay rod is provided between link levers 7, 9 for the first and the second axle. The relay rod consists of the first part 14 and the second part 16, which can be freely slidden at guide parts 17, 18 and can be fixed by a turnbuckle 19. When adjusting the axle alignment, displacement sensor 25, 26 are fitted, and without fixing them, the vehicle is moved forward. The second axle is aligned by the toe-in. At this time, the displacement is measured, the length of the relay rod is determined, and is fixed by fixing the parts 14, 16 by the turnbuckle 19. Accordingly, accuracy in adjusting the axle alignment is enhanced. |
