PURPOSE:To supply blank materials to a transfer press automatically for a long time by connecting a conveyor which is arranged at right angles to running rails for a moving mount table elevated and lowered along a multistage, multiline rack parallel to the transfer press to a blank supplying device through a turntable. CONSTITUTION:During preparations for the operation of a transfer press 1, blank materials 11 are stored fully in magazines 10 stored in respective lines and respective stages of a rack 2. Then, a moving carriage 3 is run and a winch 7 is controlled to stop a frame 6 at a magazine 10; and a fork 8 is extended to under the magazine 10, which is lifted and mounted on the frame 6. Then, motors 7 and 9 are controlled to stop the fork 8 at a conveyor 13 and the magazine 10 is transferred onto the conveyor 13. The conveyor 13 is controlled to transfer the magazine 10 onto a turntable 14, which is turned at 180 deg. to transfer the magazing 10 to a blank supplying device 12; and a lift cylinder 15 presses up the blank material on the magazine 10 and it is moved from the magazine through a sucker 16 and passed to the feed bar 17 of a transfer press 1. |
