<p>PURPOSE:To increase the power of an electromagnet and make the same higher in sensitivity, by winding a coil on a yoke so that the winding width can be maximized. CONSTITUTION:One piece 3 having an air gap l is brought into contact with one pole of the magnetic axis of a permanent magnet 1, while the other piece 4 and left and right side pieces 5, 6 are connected in a ?-shape. The other piece 4 is wound with a coil 7. A magnetic plate 8 is attached to the other pole of the magnet 1 over the entire length thereof. A horizontally movable armature 9 faces the lower surface of the magnetic plate 8. Left and right ends 9a, 9b of the armature 9 are made to face the left and right side pieces 5, 6 of a ?- shaped yoke 2. The magnetic flux Y produced by the permanent magnet 1 passes the one piece 3, the left and right side pieces 5, 6 and the armature 9 to reach the magnetic plate 8. The magnetic flux X produced by the coil 7 when it is excited passes the other piece 4 and right side piece 6 of the yoke 2 and the armature 9 to reach the left side piece 5.</p> |
