PURPOSE:To make it possible to control fuel pressure in a fuel inlet pipe line, by separating vapor bubbles in the fuel inlet pipe line for returning the bubbles into a fuel tank. CONSTITUTION:When the large quantity of air bubbles is generated in a fuel pipe line system from a fuel tank 12 to a needle valve 13 in a float chamber 10, the substantial part of air bubbles in a fuel intake air line 19 is introduced into a gas-liquid separator unit 14, but liquid fuel is alone fed into a the float chamber 10. Since pressure in the fuel inlet pipe line 19 is transmitted to a diaphragm 18 in a pressure regulator valve device 15 through the gas-liquid separator unit 14, this pressure compresses a pressure regulating valve 16 so that the diaphragm 18 is lifted until the pressure is balanced with the spring force. That is, the pressure regulator valve device 15 serves to maintain pressure in the fuel inlet pipe line 19 constant. Further, since vapor is returned from the gas-liquid separator unit 14 to the fuel tank 12, only liquid fuel is fed into the floating chamber 10. |
