PURPOSE:To easily obtain an optimum inflow condition to a moving blade, by constituting a variable inlet guide vane in an axial flow fluidic machine from a leading edge part and a trailing edge part connected with a pin to the leading edge part, moving said trailing edge part through thermal deformation of a thermally deforming metallic plate and changing an outflow angle of the guide vane. CONSTITUTION:A variable inlet guide vane is divided into a leading edge part 5 fixed to a wall surface of a casing 1 and trailing edge part 6 behind the part 5, and the both parts 5, 6 are turnably combined by connecting supporting parts 7, 8 provided internally of said parts 7, 8 with a single of pin 9. While a thermally deforming metallic plate 10 like a bimetal or shape memory alloy is secured to one end of both vane surface parts to smooth the vane surface, while a flexible plate material 11 of rubber plate or the like combines the both vane surfaces in the other end of the vane surface, further a heating wire 12 is provided neighboring to said plate 10. In this way, the plate 10 is extended and contracted by adjusting a heat quantity of the wire 12, and an outflow angle of the inlet guide vane can be changed. |
