<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the stability of a vehicle at the low speed running time by applying a trolley wire voltage through a resistance controller to the vehicle at the ordinarily running time and applying a constant voltage from an auxiliary power source at the low speed running time. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary power source 3 drives a motor generator 31 through the energization from a trolley wire 7, rectifies and outputs the AC constant voltage output via a rectifier 32. A high speed running contactor 5 is closed at the ordinarily running time of an electric motor vehicle, and a drive DC motor 2 is energized through a resistance controller 1 from the wire 7. Low speed drive contactors 4a, 4b are closed at the low speed running time, and the constant voltage power from the power source 3 is supplied to a drive DC motor 2. In this manner, the stability of the vehicle at the low speed running time can be enhanced, and the irregularity of stopping brake starting speed due to the difference of the entrance speed of the vehicle can be eliminated.</p> |
