PURPOSE:To prevent the interference between the two wiper units by a method wherein when the two wiper units whose wiping areas are partly overlapped are operated simultaneously, the wiper units are so controled by relay control circuits that each of the wiper units are driven in an alternative fashion. CONSTITUTION:Four relays 7, 10, 12 and 16 are provided in the control circuits of motors 1 and 2 for driving wiper arms A and B, respectively. The relay 7 controls a switch 8 to open and close or to become changed over, the relay 10 controls switches 11, 14 and 15, the relay 12 controls a switch 13 and the relay 16 controls a switch 17 in the like manner. A switch 9 which controls the supply of power to the motor 1 is held at (b) side unless the wiper arm A is at one end (x) of its wiping area as indicated by the arrow and the switch 18 which controls the supply of power to the motor 2 is held at (a) side unless the wiper arm B is at one end (y) of its wiping area as indicated by the arrow. Thus, the motors 1 and 2 are controlled by these relays and switches so that they are driven in an alternative fashion. |
