PURPOSE:To perform the stable operation of a synchronous motor by limiting the torque current component value so that the magnetomotive force of the prescribed rotational shaft always becomes positive. CONSTITUTION:A calculation of¦sindelta¦is performed for a load angle delta in an arithmetic unit 1, and in a divider 2, a calculation of (if+iDd)/¦sindelta¦is performed for the field current if the d axial component iDd of a brake coil current. The torque current command value is limited by the output from the divider 2 applied via a switching circuit 4, and a current command value is outputted. In this manner, the load angle does not exceed 90 deg. of an electric angle. |
