PURPOSE:To secure a prescribed welding current waveform while enabling remote operation by dividing a current waveform generator into a generator and a compensating power source for supplying the majority of a current, and connecting the in parallel. CONSTITUTION:When an operator sets a welding voltage 32 in a console box 31 and a welding current dial, the reference current waveform setter 21 in a compensating current source Y sets a reference current waveforms and outputs its signal to comparators 281 and 282. The signal of the comparator 281 is inputted to a GTO driving circuit 291 to output an ON-OFF signal to gates of GTO elements 101-102, and a switch element group 9 supplies a welding current waveform IA refering upon a reference current waveform IO. The output signal of the comparator 282 is inputted to a power transistor (TR) driving circuit 292 to supply an ON-OFF command to the base of a power TR. Therefore, a switch element group 91 supplies a compensating current IA so that a ripple current of the current IA supplied from the switch element group 9 is compensated. Thus, a less-ripple welding current waveform I depending upon the reference current waveform IO is obtained. |
