摘要 PURPOSE:To measure an accurate flow rate even if the wall of a metallic tube where a fluid to be measured is flowed has a high temperature, by arranging a transmitter and a receiver on the wall of the metallic tube so that they are not brought into contact with each other. CONSTITUTION:An optional number of transmitters 11-1n are provided, a magnetostatic field generating means 2 consists of a yoke 2', which is constituted with a magnetic material and has an E-shaped section, and a coil 2'' wound around the yoke 2'. A current generating mechanism 6 which flows a high frequency pulse current to a driver coil 5 is connected to transmitters 1. A number of receivers 71-7n to be provided is equal to the number of transmitters 1, and a magnetostatic field generating means 8 consists of a yoke 8' having an E-shaped section and a coil 8'' wound around the yoke 8'. In the receiver 7, a voltage detected by a detecting coil 11 is amplified and is connected to an ultrasonic detecting mechanism 12; and transmitters 1 and receivers 7 are provided to face each other with a tube wall 13 between them without contacting. Delay circuits 151-15n-1 are connected between transmitters 12-1n and the current generating mechanism 6 and receive signals from the current generating mechanism 6 and the ultrasonic detecting mechanism 12, and a flow rate of a fluid 14 is calculated in a signal processing circuit 16.
