NEW MATERIAL:Antibiotic cadeguomycin shown by the formula and its salt. USE:An antitumor agent. PROCESS:A bacterium (Streptomyces hygroscopicus IM7912T strain) beloging to the genus Streptomyces, capable of producing cadeguomycin, is inoculated into a nutrient medium, and cultivated preferably under aerobic conditions at 25-35 deg.C. The titled antibiotic is separated and collected by using an adsorbent such as porous adsorbing resin, etc. and an anion exchange resin, etc. |
