PURPOSE:To enlarge the range of activity by a method wherein test data and test result data are given to a monitor performing the test in words (voice) with different tone colors so as to allow the monitor to only examine the outputted voice. CONSTITUTION:Two memories 22 and 28 for applying voice signals are used to digitally store a number of voice signals with different tone colors on a word basis, whereas a processing memory 24 stores programs and so on for executing test procedure in addition to test data. A first voice generating part 25 outputs words corresponding to the test data in the form of a first voice signal and it also functions so as to convert the voice signal corresponding to the digital signal into an analog signal. A second voice generating part 26 outputs reply data returned by equipment 1 being tested and words corresponding to the data generated by test equipment 2 also in the form of an analog signal. The two kinds of words (a group of voice signals) are amplified by an amplifier 27, before being outputted by a speaker 28 in voice. |
