PURPOSE:To ensure a safe combustion operation by a method wherein a float switch is provided in a constant level device, the float switch operating a water supply electromagnetic valve so that an abnormal increase in the water component within an emulsified fuel. CONSTITUTION:When a fuel pump 8 decreases its capability, the fuel supply to an emulsion tank 4 is interrupted automatically by means of the constant level device 2, whereas the water from a water tank 6 flows continuously to the emulsion tank 4. Accordingly, the emulsified fuel flowing into burner 9 becomes watery, which results in a degradation of burning characteristics, and possibly in a misfire. According to the present invention, however, upon ocurring such a phenomenon, the level of the constant level device rises over a predetermined level so as to operate the float switch 3 so that the water supply electromagnetic valve 7 closes, thereby restricting the water supply to the emulsion tank 4 and constant level device 2. Thus, an excessive increase of water in the emulsified fuel can be avoided, therefore an excessive degradation of the burning characteristics and misfire can be avoided. |
