PURPOSE:To enable the substances generating corrosive gas to be used as fuel by a method wherein a spiral water pipe interconnecting the upper and lower parts of a water chamber is provided in a gap between a smoke chamber and a water chamber outside said smoke chamber. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical smoke chamber 2 divided into minor chambers 14a, 14b, 14c with baffles 13a, 13b, 13c is mounted on a cylindrical combustion chamber 1 provided with a fuel supply port 6 on its side and a blast nozzle 11 in its circumferential wall. The outer circumference of the smoke chamber 2 is provided, with the intermediary of a gap 21, with a water chamber 4 consisting of an inner and outer cylinders, and a spiral water pipe 5 is installed within the gap 21. The lower end of the water pipe 5 is connected to a water inlet pipe 25 running as high as the upper portion of the water chamber 4 and the upper end thereof is connected to a hot-water outlet 26 with its opening facing down. A feed water inlet 23 and hot-water outlet 22 are provided as shown in the drawing. |
