PURPOSE:To prevent the disturbance of a toner image due to a developer, by setting a conveying magnet roll above and near a developing magnet roll and then adding properly a cleaning magnet roll. CONSTITUTION:A developing device contains a conveying magnet roll 10 set above a developing magnet roll 5. In this connection, a cleaning magnet roll 15 is added to prevent the drop of a developer 3 when it is shifted from the roll 5 to the roll 10. Thus the developer 3 dropped on a recording medium 1 is adsorbed onto a sleeve 16 with the magnetic sucking force of a magnetic pole S1. The developer 3 on the sleeve 16 is conveyed by the revolution of the sleeve 16 and in the same direction as the revolution of the sleeve 16 and then joins a developer 3' after passing a magnetic pole N2 to be shifted onto the roll 10. |
