RADIATOR FOR FLOOR HEATING APPLIANCE

PURPOSE:To facilitate the application of carpet or the like on the floor by a method wherein a pipe protector is provided on the upper surface of a radiator slidably in the horizontal direction and the pipe is arranged between the radiators and between the radiator and a blind plate, the pipe protected by sliding the protector horizontally, thereby eliminating the unevenness of the floor. CONSTITUTION:A necessary number of radiators 1 and blind plates 8 are arranged on a floor plate 9 and the pipes 7 are arranged between the radiators 1 and between the radiator 1 and blind plate 8. Then the pipe protector 4 which is mounted on the upper surface of the radiator 1 slidably through elongated holes 5 is moved over the pipe 7 to cover the gap defined around the pipe 7. The pipe protector 4 is fixed by means of screws 6 at the pipe covering position. Finally the carpet or the like is spread all over the floor. According to this constitution, the unevenness of the floor surface can be eliminated, which results in an easy application.
