PURPOSE:To improve the safeness and cooking performance of the roaster with a temperature controller for disconnecting a heat source by a method wherein a temperature sensor is provided in a plane perpendicular to the heat source as covered with a detachable receiving tray or an insulator which is associated to the receiving tray. CONSTITUTION:The temperature sensor 10a is provided in a plane perpendicular to the heater 8 and the receiving tray 3 is housed within a space 5 at such a position as covers the temperature sensor 10a. With such a construction, when a heated object 2 on a net shelf 4 is housed in a roaster chamber 5 on the detachable tray 3 and a switch 9 is turned ON, the heat radiated from the heater 8 toward the temperature sensor 10a is cut to delay the temperature rising thereof. Thus, the power supply by the heater 8 is kept until the heated object is roasted completely. On the other hand, when the receiving tray 3 is not used, the temperature change of the temperature sensor 10a is high speed, thereby preventing an occurrence of abnormally high temperature. Thus, the safeness of the roaster is much improved. |
