PURPOSE:To provide a controller for an automatic rice boiler which automatically starts the cooking, prevents a gas leakage due to a failure of ignition and fire due to an overheating of a cooker, and is further equipped with a safety countermeasure for a trouble of a detecting sensor. CONSTITUTION:A first timer T1 starts in response to an ON signal of a set switch 35 which is operated by an output of a time setting device of by hand. If a pilot burner C is not fired within an output time limit of the timer T1, a pilot valve F is closed and the operation of an ingition device D is stopped. After a certain period of time, the ignition operation is repeated. If the pilot burner C is not fired even by a predetermined times of ignition operations, the timer T1 is stopped. Instead, the pilot valve F is opened and the ignition device D is operated to get an ignition, and if the firing of the pilot burner C is detected by a sensorI, a main valve E is opened to fire a main burner B. If the firing of the main burner B is detected by another sensor II, a pilot valve F is closed and the ignition device D is stopped. |
