The invention relates to a cleaning device (10) having a cleaning roller (2) and a stripper (3), which can be brought into and out of contact with the photoconductive circumferential surface of a drum (6) of a copier. When the cleaning roller (2) has been pivoted on and the stripper (3) is applied, cleaning liquid (9) builds up between said roller and stripper and a splash guard (5). The stripper (3) and the splash guard (5) are attached to a pivotable profiled tube (8).
